Simple Products

Some products that we work on are simple in nature. There are no moving parts, materials are readily available, the product can be easily manufactured and the potential is great for commercialization. A straight forward product like this takes more time than you think to get it ready. Even the easy stuff requires time and attention to detail to be successful in the market place. 

Not that simple!

Usually when I engage with a start-up or inventor one of the first topics that is discussed is a prototype. Over the years, I have learned the hard way that it is not that simple. It never is with product development and prototypes. Even with simple products there will be multiple design iterations and prototypes as you progress to make the product function and look great.

It's that simple !
